Nelson Mandela and how young South Africans view his legacy
Reading through this article I was reminded of when I was around 6 years old and viewed my Dad cycling off to his job as a blaster in a mine near Randfontein in the old Transvaal in South Africa where I grew up. With him he took his tin of sandwiches and screw top beer bottle containg coffee.
We were not rich or famous by any means and my mom never went to work until I was around 10 years old so we had no car and no refrigerator and had an old coal stove in the kitchen which kept the municipal house we lived in, warm.
What we did have though was education and that is the building block of success!
Sadly this education was not offered to all because of the apartheid laws but this changed when Mr Mandela came along and instead of politicians embracing the change whole heartedly they seem to have focused mainly on lining their own pockets!
Hopefully with the help of Mr Mashaba..assuming he is trustworthy..things will radically change for the better!! That he steps into Mr Mandela's shoes..as it were!!

Princess of Wales Receiving Cancer Treatment
Have just read that the Princess of Wales is receiving preventative cancer treatment after having undergone abdominal surgery!
I believe in miracles and the power of prayer and so am asking others who are like-minded to pray with me for a complete recovery for the Princess!
In the name of Yeshua/Jesus we pray! Amen

Prayers for Lisa aged 9; Matthew 18:20; Stödet till Lisa Växer
Just been reading about a little girl called Lisa..aged 9..who is being sent back to Albania on her own by the Swedish Migration authorities when the Swedish people who she has been living with and seems happy with, want to adopt her!
If she goes back she will most probably end up in some sort of orphanage!!
So my request is for prayers for Lisa and a miracle and that the authorities have a change of heart and mind.
Jesus said that where two or more join together in His name, He'll be with them..
So if we all pray for the little girl..no matter where we are..she has a chance..
"20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them"
