My grandson aged 9 is hyper-allergic to Peanuts and Eggs! Living with such allergies tends to suck the fun out of life and especially where nuts are concerned because this type of allergy can and often is fatal!
It seems that later in life the egg allergy gets outgrown but the curse of nuts is always there! :(
The only emergency treatment for anaphylaxis is epinephrine which is given in what is called an 'epi- pen' and the victim can use it self provided they know how!!
