The child in question was Peter Connelly and he was murdered at the age of 17 months by 3 adults.
In my humble opinion the perpetrators, whether directly or indirectly, should spend the rest of their natural lives behind bars in order to protect other small children from falling into their evil clutches.
Life without parole should be a universal punishment for all child abusers and murderers!
